About Our Logo
The "power sprocket" logo is the marriage of two seemingly unique components: the well known "power symbol" overlaid on a sprocket which bears deeper meaning. Charles Babbage, our namesake, was the inventor of the first programmable computer: the analytical engine. This device was the first incarnation of the computers that affect our daily lives and upon which we rely heavily. The analytical engine was a gear-driven mechanical computer; hence, the sprocket.
